As alumni of The King’s School, you remain an important part of the School’s story. There are many ways in which you can help ensure that The King’s School continues to thrive for today’s pupils and for future generations, whether by making a gift, sponsoring an initiative, or sharing your time, experience, and insight.

Support from alumni plays a vital role in enriching both the education we provide and the environment in which pupils learn. Financial gifts, including regular or one‑off donations, help fund improvements to facilities, resources, and opportunities that enhance school life. Equally valuable is the gift of time: alumni who return to deliver career talks, offer mentoring, support work experience, or engage with school events help broaden students’ horizons and build confidence in their next steps.

As with all schools, a significant proportion of the budget is committed to essential day‑to‑day costs, including staffing, utilities, and the care of our historic buildings and grounds. Alumni support enables the School to go beyond these essentials - enhancing learning experiences, supporting developments in older areas of the School, and investing in opportunities that sit outside routine budgets.

In recent years, many improvements have been made thanks to the generosity and continued engagement of our alumni community, alongside grant funding and the support of families and the PTFA. This collective commitment builds on King’s Schools strong foundations: dedicated staff, excellent academic achievement, and a shared ambition to help every pupil flourish.
